The power was only transferred from white British to black British who exploited the nation but by different & more clever means. Bhagat Singh wanted the power to be with in the hands of the common people of the nation; not in the hands of elite or rich class. Friends, it is clear that our exploitation and oppression stems from the system itself. Indeed, to fight the root cause of our exploitation, we will have to fight the system itself. We must realize the limitations of our individual efforts to cope with these problems, of our belief that sensitive laws can make all the difference, and of the popular perception that endeavors to change mindsets is the only way out. All these are inadequate means to fight the magnitude of people's exploitation and oppression as it stands today. For inequalities that stem from the system only a collective endeavour can meet with any success. If we seek the upliftment of all people, if we want to expose the system for what it is and pave the way for long-term change, then we need our organization.
